  4. This is just a quick start guide, it is recommended that you read
  5. THEWALL.DOC, even if it's just to read my notes or messages, etc.

  8. You will have to edit "THEWALL.CFG" and place it in your maximus directory.
  9. (Current directory when running the MEX)

  12. If you are going to modify the WALLHEAD (Wall Header) files, take note of the
  13. [menu] up the top of the .MEC and the [link] down the bottom, as these give
  14. the warning and link to the actual wall.

  17. All you need to do to get this WALL running after changing the directories in
  18. THEWALL.CFG is  add it to a menu in Maximus.
  19.  
  20. NOTE: If you are not compiling in the \MAX\M directory, you will need to have
  21. the mex_include environment variable set. (ie. set mex_include=c:\max\m)
  22.  
  23. Add these two lines to a menu in menus.ctl:
  24.   Display_File    utils\wall\wallhead     Normal      "Read THE WALL"
  25.   MEX             utils\wall\thewall      Normal      "Write on THE WALL"
  26.  
  27.                   ^^^^^^^^^^ should point to the path you installed it in..

  29. You will need to modify your "wallhead.mec" file so that the [link] statement
  30. down the bottom points to the valid "WALLDISP.BBS" file.
